Join Ed McCaffrey & Denver Broncos Cheerleaders At The Global Down Syndrome Foundation Dare To Cheer & Dare To Play Football Camps
WHAT
The Dare to Cheer Camp is co-organized by the Global Down Syndrome Foundation and the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, and the Dare to Play Football Camp is co-organized by Global and Ed McCaffrey. The camps culminate in an exciting Game Day in front of hundreds cheering fans. The Denver Broncos Thunderstorm jump group will kick off the game by skydiving into the football stadium. After the game there is a large Community Celebration Party with free food, drinks, music and other fun activities. The camps are sponsored this year by Integrated Sports & Spine.

Denver Broncos Cheerleaders – Director Teresa Shear, Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders Director Katee Mink, and six Denver Broncos Cheerleaders – will lead the Dare to Cheer participants in a halftime performance. Former Denver Broncos wide receiver and Pro Bowler Ed McCaffrey, Broncos Orlando Franklin, Malik Jackson and other celebrity coaches will be in attendance. Past celebrity coaches of the Dare to Play Football Camps have included Mike Shanahan, Brian Billick, Jack Del Rio, Brian Dawkins, Mark Schlereth and Al Wilson. Valor Christian High School Eagles football players serve as “Pals” for campers with Down syndrome. The Eagles have won five consecutive state football championships. The Global Down Syndrome Foundation co-organizes the camps. Global is a nonprofit organization based in Denver, dedicated to significantly improving the lives of people with Down syndrome through research, medical care, education and advocacy. Eighteen participants with Down syndrome will take part in the Dare to Cheer Camp, and 39 participants with Dow n syndrome will take part in the Dare to Play Football Camp.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Fans of Ed McCaffrey, the Denver Broncos, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Valor Christian High School, Global Down Syndrome Foundation, our campers and Pals. Anyone who is connected to a person with Down syndrome or someone who is differently-abled. Anyone who is looking for a fun and leisurely stadium experience and picnic type atmosphere on a weekend.
