Wednesday, May 8th, 2013, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation celebrated our models with Down syndrome, 2013 Global Down Syndrome Foundation Ambassador Cole Rodgers, and Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award recipients Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Congressman Chris Van Hollen.
Featuring a performance by Sheryl Crow!
Host of HLNs Raising America Kyra Phillips was the emcee, and celebrity escorts for the models included John Roberts of Fox News, members of Congress, sports personalities and celebrities! More than 60 members of Congress signed up for the event’s Honorary Host Committee.
