Sponsorship Opportunities at the Global Down Syndrome Foundation

Witness a night of inspiration, advocacy, music and fun at the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show. Join over 1,200 guests, as they cheer on our beautiful models with Down syndrome who will walk the runway with sports personalities and other celebrities. This event provides critical funds for the Instituto Linda Crnic para el Síndrome de Down on the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Sie Center for Down syndrome at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

En Centro Anna y John J. Sie para el síndrome de Down is 7,000 square feet of beautiful, state-of-the-art space at Children’s Hospital dedicated to patients with Down syndrome. Sponsoring a room at the Sie Center for Down Syndrome will help ensure families and professionals can continue to convene to chart the course of individual medical care as well as help to dramatically improve the health of all people with Down syndrome through clinical research. There are 27 National Institute on Aging (NIA) designated Alzheimer’s Disease Centers in the United States, but not one within a 600 mile radius of Denver or with a sub-specialty in Down syndrome. The Global Down Syndrome Foundation has partnered with the University of Colorado’s Department of Neurology at the Anschutz Medical Campus on this important initiative. Since Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome are mechanistically linked, funding for this initiative will accelerate the development of new treatments for both patients. The Courage Classic is a three-day bicycle race through the colorado rocky mountains. The donations raised by the cyclists benefit the Centro Anna y John J. Sie para el síndrome de Down, the medical care center for the Instituto Linda Crnic para el Síndrome de Down.
